You ignore the basics, they expect perfection.

You make promises, they hold you accountable.

You think only of yourself, they demand empathy.

You offer what’s convenient, they want what’s personal.

You’re in it for the money, they’re in it for the experience.

They play hard to get, you’re emotionally unavailable.

You focus on appearances, they crave authenticity.

You respond late, they expect instant attention.

You stick to a script, they value spontaneity.

You avoid confrontation, they expect resolution.

I am talking about your guests (customers, clients)!

Why should guest relations be so complicated?

❌ Because you still see them as transactional when, in fact, in today’s market, they go way beyond that!

❌ Because at the core, service is very simple, but we make it complicated: we all want acknowledgment, respect, attention and our needs satisfied. And maybe later, or at higher levels, our minds read and unspoken wishes fulfilled.

❌ Because you still think service is in our nature and we can all do it by default, without standards and fine-tuned behaviors!

❌ Because you still prioritize anything else but a customer service strategy when managing your business!

What is a customer service strategy?

It is your game plan to make sure customers feel valued every time they interact with your business!

⭐️ Start by knowing who your clients are and setting goals for how you want them to feel - satisfied, happy or pampered.

⭐️ Make it easy for them to reach you on their terms, whether that’s through phone, email, social media, or face-to-face chats.

⭐️ Empower your team with the skills they need to handle anything—because, let’s face it, every day brings something new! When problems pop up, tackle them fast and with finesse, turning complaints into moments that leave customers impressed.

⭐️ Ask for feedback, learn from it, and use it to level up.

⭐️ Finally, track your success with simple metrics—like customer satisfaction and how fast you respond—to keep improving.

🧙‍♀️ I can definitely help you design and implement such a plan!

♻️ If you think someone could benefit from taking their customer relations to the next level!

💬 What’s your biggest challenge when it comes to guest relations?
